Carrying Bikes on a Rav 4
Important information for Rav 4 Owners. The Rav 4 is not an easy car to provide a cycle carrier for. Our range of towbar mounted cycle racks conflict with the low position of the spare wheel, whilst again the position of the spare wheel makes fitment of our Paddy Hopkirk spare wheel rack impossible. For this reason, we recommend use of the roof-mounted cycle carrier, in conjunction with roof bars (see below for roof crossbars and cycle carrier for 2000 onwards Rav 4 that is fitted with roof rails - we do not stock cross bars suitable for pre-2000 Rav4 or those without factory fitted roof rails (running front-to-back). NOTE: Each carrier holds one cycle. Carrier clamps to roof crossbars which are required.
