Does exactly what it says on the tube!

By Alan Hood (Staff Review) on 01/03/2012

I ride a trike with the rear light directly above spray from the rear wheel, and often a trailer with the lights mounted low and close to any road sparay - with a branded battery powered light directly above the wheel in line with the spray.

With the switch on the base of the light, water ingress into the switch became a real problem, turning the light off in the dark, or on and leaving it locked on, eventually ruining one light.

I bought a tube of this, put a small amount around the microswitches and around the seals of the lights, and have never had any problems since, even in foul weather. A little goes a long way too.

Plus it doesn't eat rubber seals like petroleum jelly (often used as a similar water barrier) can.
