The Rolli Awning is a top of the range, state of the art roll out awning. A fully featured awning that simply rolls out of a bag. Made from high specification materials, with state of the art features and only takes minutes to put up. It combines great features like a highly reflective PVC roof to reflect the heat and Westlite fabric walls. The modular construction means that the awning itself can be used in many different combinations to suit your requirements. The doors and windows can be switched around to suit your needs, all the panels can be removed to leave you with a sun canopy. The side wall can be moved down to create a panoramic version that is half open patio and half awning. The modular construction and high specification materials makes this one of the best available roll out awnings on the market.

  • Takes just minutes to erect.
  • Heat reflective roof and ventilation windows mean that even on a hot day the awning will stay cooler than the outside

By Stevew on 18/07/2011

We bought this awning at the end of May, 2 days before we were due to leave for a trip to Italy. It was delivered free which considering we are 30+ miles away was very good of them.
The awning bag was slotted into the rail of my Coachman Pastiche 460/2 with help from my son & my wife & held in place with a couple of small nuts & bolts placed in the awning rail.(it would have been handy for these to have been provided,it would have saved ages rooting throgh my garage).
With the awning in place we decided to have a trial run on the drive to save any campsite embarrassment later on.With my wife helping we followed the simple instructions & pulled the roof out & fixed it in place with the roof poles,a complete doddle. We decided to leave the sides & front fitting till the holiday & rolled the roof back into its bag on the caravan side. The previously seperately packed side & front poles were also placed in the bag & it easily zipped up,holding everything with ease.
The first use of the Rolli was at a packed site in Luxembourg where we were shown to the overspill field. We became the entertainment for a variety of nationalities who sat back to see what we had in the bag.We decided that as we were only staying 2 nights we would just put up the roof for sun shade. The onlookers got short shrift, the roof was up & pegged with the 2 guy ropes in 5 mins, not bad for a couple of 60+ novices. The blazing sun changed into a thunderous storm & we were amazed how dry everything stayed under its cover.
After an overnight awningless stop in Switzerland we arrived at our campsite at Lake Garda & pitched up.The Rolli again went up easily with the front poles & middle roof pole supporting the roof. The sides were then threaded onto the outer roof poles & these were fitted easily to the front main pole.A velcro strip fastens the roof to the sides, easily done single handed with the use of the caravan step. The awning front slides into the main front pole in the same way as an awning would slide into the caravan rail.It then zips to the side panels & forms a very secure, stable & wrinkle free structure. From memory there are about 16 - 18 pegs to put in round the base, the guy ropes to fit & that is it.In my case it took less than 30 mins from start to finish, you need 2 people to roll out the roof & put in the front poles & middle roof pole as well as 2 to tension the outer poles either with or without the sides in place, after that it is a one person job.I have seen conventional awnings that dont look as good as this awning & they take 3 times as long to erect with a lot more effort.
During our 1st week in Lake Garda we experienced some violent thunderstorms & the awning remained completely watertight. When the weather did improve the front easily unzipped to provide a superb 3 wall shelter from the sun.

If it sounds like I am a Rolli fan then I must admit, I am,I have had several awnings in the past & this one beats them all for ease of use & quality. The materials used seem 1st class & everything fits together almost perfectly.I do however have a few gripes.Out of the 6 curtains we had 5 white & one cream, one of the spikes on the front poles was bent & one of the detent springs on one roof pole had no tension. All these niggles were easily overcome & did not detract from our use on holiday, I assume that they are early day teething troubles as my awning is one of the 1st to be sold & in my eyes they are minor faults, although my wife doesnt think that about the curtains.Rolli are due to ring me regarding these problems so I will write on here about their customer service, hopefully it is as good as their product.
