A very good product

First of all, take time to read the instruction leaflet. Erection straight from the bag first time was relativily easy, but the tightening straps at the base for the 2 main crossover poles was not well explained in my instructions. No matter, they were soon found and adjusted, allowing the stainless pole pin to slide inside the poles easily enough and tightened afterwards. The pegging out was easily accomplished afterwards.

I was impressed with the material and my concerns over the material thickness and rip strength soon evaporated. The awning stood extremely bad winds and heavy rain in the Lake District, with no water ingress or damage whatsoever, which brightened my outlook somewhat. The room inside the awning was more than I envisaged and took our stuff plus two chairs easily, even allowing me to sit inside it with a book when the weather turned nippy.

All in all, a decent porch awning which can be erected by myself (a 66yr old pensioner)and will easily suffice for a weekend and short holiday without the need to put up our main awning. All in all, we are well pleased with our awning.
